Mission Outdoors... Our mission states that the purpose of the organization is to promote Christ as a part of everyday life. Today's youth need role models that are real people and outdoor alternatives. The focus is to have fun while supporting Christian values, in the outdoors. Mission Outdoors is operated by members and volunteers that will listen and provide Christian values, and most of all simply to be there when needed. We strive to do most if not all of our activities outdoors as this was created by Christ himself. Mission Outdoors operates monthly shoots for girls and boys of all ages, along with other outdoor activities such as hunts, fishing trips and camping. We are staffed by volunteers and members of Mission Outdoors. We offer Skeet Shooting, Fishing, Sport Shooting, Camping, Archery and Christian Fellowship. Members have been trained in all areas to provide the safety and skills needed. We also have workshops that will provide any of today's youth or adult with the skills needed to become an avid outdoors-man with Christian values. We have sponsorships that allow kids to come out and enjoy the outdoors and learn about.... Respect, the Love of Christ and the Joy of Fellowship in the great outdoors. Each year many kids who cannot get to the outdoors or to Church will have the opportunity to enjoy Christ and learn Respect form individuals that love Christ and the outdoors. Mission Outdoors will strive to promote Christian character building experiences by utilizing the outdoors and education of hunting in a Christian environment. Biblical principles are taught in fun and interactive ways. Emphasis is on having fun, making friends, and learning principles which can be taken back home. It's always about Respect, the Love of Christ, and the joy of Fellowship. We strive to provide the Path of Christ. |
